Alex always knew he’d somehow end up in the world of video production. As a kid, he’d always find a way to make videos. Borrowing a friends' VHS camcorder to produce stories about homework procrastination, video school book reports and videotaping his entire senior year of high school (class of 91 rules!), you could always find a video camera in his hands.

After receiving a BA in Radio/Television Production from the University of Montana, Alex moved to Portland, Oregon and started producing award winning television news stories. With 17 years of journalistic integrity (never take the free stuff) and his love for storytelling, he transitioned into Marketing and Video Production for an aviation consulting firm. There, Alex used his video storytelling to promote and connect airports to their community and airlines partners.

In late 2016, Alex formed Gen XI Productions to better partner with clients, businesses and communities. He enjoys telling their stories in an interesting, visually compelling manner with a journalistic approach to their message.

When Alex is not out shooting video, he’s at home roasting raw coffee beans, building something in his workshop, or enjoying his family.
